Acceptance
By using H3Split (h3split.com) you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the site.
The service
H3Split is a free, browser-based utility for extracting child H3 hexagon cells. It is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We may change, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice.
Accuracy
The underlying calculation is performed by h3-js, Uber's reference JavaScript implementation of H3. We rely on that library for correctness. If you spot an issue, it's probably worth checking against h3-js directly before concluding it's a bug in H3Split specifically.
Do not rely on H3Split as the sole source of truth for safety-critical, financial, or legal decisions. The tool is intended for engineering and analytical workflows where you can independently verify results.
Permitted use
You may use H3Split for any lawful purpose, personal or commercial, including automated use within reasonable limits. Please don't:
- Attempt to disrupt the site, host, or other users.
- Scrape or re-host large portions of the site in ways that misrepresent its origin.
- Use it as part of a scheme that violates applicable law.
Intellectual property
The site content — copy, design, non-library code — is © 2026 H3Split. The h3-js library is © Uber Technologies and licensed under Apache 2.0. "H3" is a project of Uber Technologies; H3Split is an independent utility and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Uber Technologies.
No warranty
H3Split is provided WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied, including (but not limited to) warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Your use of the site is entirely at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall H3Split or its operators be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the service.
Third-party links and services
H3Split links to and loads resources from third parties (Google AdSense, jsDelivr, Google Fonts, external documentation sites). We are not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of those third parties.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, excluding its conflict-of-law provisions, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection laws of your place of residence.
